No peptide discussed on PeptideVault has been evaluated or approved by the FDA to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. They are dispensed patient-specifically through licensed 503A compounding pharmacies under a physician-signed prescription, in compliance with applicable federal and state pharmacy law.

Yes — every PeptideVault order is backed by a physician-signed prescription matched to your intake form and (where available) recent lab work. You do not need to obtain a prescription yourself; the protocoling physician signs off after reviewing your goals, symptom profile, and any labs you upload through the intake form.

Adults with specific, well-defined optimization goals (recovery, body composition, sleep depth, cognitive performance, metabolic health, longevity) who are otherwise in stable health and able to provide recent labs work well. Your physician reviews your intake and decides whether a peptide protocol is appropriate for you — and will say so plainly if it is not.

Active malignancy, pregnancy or breastfeeding, and uncontrolled chronic disease (cardiac, hepatic, renal, or endocrine) are general exclusions. Most peptides also have product-specific exclusions — for example, growth-hormone-releasing agents are not prescribed alongside exogenous GH therapy. Your physician reviews your medications and medical history during intake, and every protocol page in the catalog lists its own contraindication row.

Dosing is individualized. The intake form captures body composition, goals, prior peptide experience, and recent labs; the protocoling physician weighs those inputs alongside the peptide's mechanism and titration curve, then sets a starting dose, route, and frequency. You are never handed a fixed dose drawn from a template.

Timelines vary by peptide and goal. Most patients report subjective changes in sleep, recovery, or appetite within two to four weeks of starting. Body-composition and metabolic markers typically show movement by the eight-week bloodwork review that is part of any serious protocol. Your physician sets expectations against your specific protocol at intake.

Lyophilized peptides ship in temperature-controlled packaging with chain-of-custody documentation: synthesis date, certificate of analysis, dispensing pharmacy, and ship timestamp are all logged. On arrival, store the vial refrigerated (most peptides tolerate room-temperature transit for short windows, but the spec calls for 2–8°C after delivery). Reconstituted product is dosed within the stability window the physician specifies.

Because peptides are patient-specific prescription compounds, federal and state pharmacy law restricts returns once a prescription order has been dispensed. If your order arrives damaged, out of spec against the COA, or fails an independent verification, contact us within 48 hours of receipt and we will replace or refund at our discretion. Office consultations are refundable up to 24 hours before the scheduled call.

Every batch ships with a third-party Certificate of Analysis. Independent labs run HPLC for purity (release spec is ≥98%), mass spectrometry for identity, LAL endotoxin testing, and — for the full panel — heavy metals and residual solvents. A licensed US physician signs every prescription, sets the dose, and reviews your follow-up labs. The dispensing pharmacy is a licensed 503A compounding pharmacy. There is no unmonitored, telehealth-only path to a PeptideVault order — supervision is the model, not an add-on.
